People ask me all the time; "where do you get all this {great} stuff? While I always try to answer truthfully, sometimes I have to stop and think about it a while. It's then that I realize that the "stuff" finds me.
Por ejemplo; my dear friend Jennifer Murphy, perhaps you have heard of her; she makes Steiff quality bears and bunnies that are so amazing and sophisticated they take your breath away, her work has been licensed by Midwest of Cannon Falls, and thus carried in my shop. Her studio was featured in the August 2010 issue of "Where Women Create" and she has been a live guest on the "Martha Stewart Living" show twice {maybe more?}. So anyway, she asked me if I would be interested in shopping for supplies in her studio? Like many of us she had been accumulating for years, ahem, and needed to make room for other priorities. Actually it never really registered just why she wanted to let go of this stuff, as I was more than happy to take it off her hands. Little did she know that I am the kind of buyer that wants a "take it all" price, hey I have a shop. So, after a fabulous lunch with surprise friend Margo, my trusty Volvo became full of treasures yet again.
A lot of these goodies have already made their way into the shop, and I will be adding more and more each day. Some of these things I will be saving to make something fabulous with.
There is so much more, that did not get in the way of the camera.
Hopefully this answers the big question. Or at least part of it. My advice, be open, know what you want and some woo woo advice on Karma and the universe etc.
