Introducing the newest Cachette collection inspired by Marie Antoinette. This has been in the works for a while and it is finally ready for prime time. Just deciding what to go in was time consuming. But this time I have been making simple projects with the contents, which then had me adding more and more to the box. I really wanted to inspire, so I had to give you actual examples to look at.
Starting with the vintage daisy spray and vintage satin blue leaves, make this beautiful wreath or garland. Add small bunches of forget-me-nots and glittery rock-candy flower stamens which are held onto a sturdy wire with white floral tape. Tie it off with baby soft light blue silk ribbon.
Of course there is a tiara! . . . . It's Marie Antoinette. . . . I have been wanting to do something with these yellow Ostrige plume tips f o r e v e r . They are perfect for Marie. After antiquing the Dresden tiara base with light blue paint, I added a bit of "ocean" glass glitter, a trio of sailing ships (also antiqued) a vintage earring, and 3 yellow plumes. Tie it up with vintage light blue taffeta ribbon. Voila!
Next I covered the little jewelry box with vintage paper, made a pretty pearl bracelet and decorateed some blue tags. Hint: Give your mom the bracelet for Mother's day inside the pretty box.
Oui, C'est Manifique!
After adding up everything, it came to over $200 worth, but I am offering it for a mere $148. Yes it's extravagant, but what did you expect? She was a queen. And there are only 12, that is a mere dozen available. Actually there are now only 6 4 2 available!
Oh, I almost forgot; the first 8 purchased will receive a glass cake ornament as a gift. Well those are all gone, but here is a Marie Antoinette image file free to download! Download Marie Antoinette Images
